Metal Jewellery – weekly
6 Wednesday evenings - Starts on 18 February
This class is all about making metal jewellery. It will cover knowledge of tools and techniques including design, sawing, filing, texturing, soldering, sanding and finishing. Students can expect to make up to three items of jewellery including a ring, a bangle and a stone setting. Health and safety in the workshop is a key learning objective. Students must wear shoes that cover their feet – no sandals, jandals, or slides. Wear comfortable clothing suitable for a workshop. Hair must be tied back. This is for your safety in the workshop. Fee includes silver, copper and the tools needed to complete the projects.
